Saturday Trail Run

Every Saturday ALL YEAR ROUND at 8:15am we meet at the store and head out on an adventure to one of our local trails.  The run is a free drop in to promote the sport of trail running in our valley.  So far everyone has been impressed, we have even shown the “locals” new trails they didn’t even know existed.

Community News - Staff

Jordan Kirk (Staff)

This year Jordie will be enjoying his new 29r (with gears and suspension) and of course trail running when he's not on his new bike! This year is all about fun on the bike and on the trails - running!

Jordie has not given up on doing the TransRockies Run in Colorado with his wife but mutually they have decided to wait until their boys are older (see article in Impact Magazine regarding Family Time in the 2011 May Issue).

  Beva Kirk (Staff)

Beva completed her goal of competing in the 2011 World Master Cross Country Ski competition in Silver Star, Vernon with great success in all three events. Two fourth place finishes and a third place Bronze medal in the 30k Classic. She came home with a gold, silver and bronze medal in the Canadian Masters Competition (which was part of the World Master Comp) in addition to the Bronze medal in the 30k World Masters Classic event. Beva is looking forward to competing in the Canadian Masters Competion held in Golden, BC in 2012.

Beva's focus this year is to have fun mountain biking, trail running and enjoying time with her boys.
